PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago — Vinita Manoo has been appointed the new Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2026.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by Stolen Productions (SLP) Ltd., the new franchise owner of Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe.

The appointment comes after the former franchise owners announced in July that Trinidad and Tobago would not be sending a delegate to this year’s competition, which is scheduled to take place in Puerto Rico.

She succeeds Latifah Morris, who competed in last year’s competition in Thailand.

Manoo, 36, was born and raised in San Juan, Trinidad.

She is a former national scholarship winner in the natural sciences and has a passion for languages and cultures, which has taken her across Europe and Latin America.

Manoo holds a master’s degree in Communications and Public Relations and has worked in communications at the Office of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, where she contributed to national and international communications.

SLP will oversee Manoo’s journey to the international stage and has acquired the rights to film and produce an original reality series chronicling her experience.

Founded in Trinidad and Tobago, SLP is an export-focused film, television and entertainment production company developing locally created content for international audiences.

Its portfolio spans unscripted television, film, live entertainment and international pageantry-related productions.
