Former Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe Avionne Mark has married Trini-born, New York-based soca artiste Anton Wilcox.
The couple exchanged vows on June 6 at All Saints’ Church in Port of Spain, before continuing the celebrations at the historic Mille Fleurs mansion.
Mark, 37, walked down the aisle in a couture gown designed by Nicole and Felicia, with the wedding bringing together specially invited guests from Trinidad and Tobago’s fashion, entertainment and music circles.
The beauty queen, model and businesswoman later changed into a beaded and jewelled Galia Lahav dress paired with Christian Louboutin shoes for her reception dance with her husband.
A day after the wedding, Mark shared the news with her followers, posting: “It’s Mrs. Wilcox to you.”
