St Vincent and the Grenadines has crowned two new Soca Monarch champions after an entertaining night of competition at Independence Park.

Jasper “Jasper YMC” Alexander captured the 2026 Power Soca Monarch title with an energetic performance of his song “Rum Island”, dethroning reigning champion Delroy “Fireman” Hooper.

Hooper, who competed with “Dem Vincy,” finished outside the top three, while Kevon “Sick O” Shallow placed second with “Shut Yo Mouth.” Claydon “Dymez” Roache and Elrico “Da Pixel” Hunte secured third place with “Do the Most.”

The victory continues a strong season for Alexander, who also won the All Windwards Soca Monarch competition in June.

In the Ragga Soca Monarch competition, Tyrique “D’Fusion” Thomas reclaimed the title with “Here to Stay,” unseating defending champion Utamu “Bongo Prime” Rose.

Keith “Currency” Stapleton and Jamarie “L’Pank” Stapleton finished second with “Alcohol,” while Shorn “Shorn Beats” Nimblet placed third with “Stageshow.”
