A 48-year-old Cuban national has died aboard a flight en route to The Bahamas after experiencing a medical emergency on August 20.

According to police, the man was travelling on an inbound flight from London when he became unresponsive.

Emergency medical personnel responded when the aircraft arrived and attempted to resuscitate him, but he remained unresponsive and showed no signs of life.

Foul play is not currently suspected.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
