Air France will launch a new non-stop service between Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Panama City from December 11, 2026, expanding connections between the French Caribbean and the Americas.
The new route will operate twice weekly until March 5, 2027.
The airline currently operates two Airbus A320 aircraft based in Pointe-à-Pitre, providing year-round connections between Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana, along with services to Belém and Fortaleza in Brazil and Miami in the United States.
The new Panama City service has been scheduled to allow passengers travelling from Fort-de-France and Cayenne to connect more easily to Panama via Pointe-à-Pitre.
Through a partnership with Panamanian carrier COPA Airlines, passengers will also gain access to a wider network of destinations across Central and South America, with connections designed to streamline onward travel and through-checked baggage to final destinations.
Air France said the new service reinforces its role in connecting the French West Indies and French Guiana with destinations across the Americas.
The route follows the recent addition of services to Belém and Fortaleza, as well as an expansion of Air France’s long-haul services between the region and its Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub.
For Guadeloupe Maryse Condé Airport, the new service is expected to strengthen its position as a regional hub, creating additional connections to Central America, Latin America and the US West Coast.
The route is also part of a broader expansion of Air France’s regional network from Guadeloupe, aimed at improving connectivity across the French Caribbean archipelago and supporting travel for residents, businesses and visitors.
