Marriott Bonvoy properties across the Caribbean are introducing upgraded facilities, new dining experiences and activities designed to connect guests with local culture.

Developments span resorts in Aruba, Curaçao, the Cayman Islands, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, with projects ranging from major property renovations to new beachfront experiences.

In the Dominican Republic, the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino has completed a modernisation valued at more than US$11 million.

The work includes the restoration of Teatro La Fiesta, upgrades to sports and wellness facilities, new padel courts, poolside dining featuring a wood-fired pizzeria, improvements to ZUI Spa and the fitness centre, and a multipurpose space called La Galería.

In Aruba, the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino is preparing to introduce premium accommodation for adults, featuring private plunge pools, landscaped outdoor spaces, shade canopies and direct access to the beach and pool.

Guests will also have access to the resort’s Tradewinds Club.

The Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort is expanding its culinary experiences, with enhancements to JFK Steakhouse’s dining and wine offerings and beachfront dinners at Salty at the Beach. The resort is also offering a Friday Fire Pit Ritual inspired by the local Tambú music tradition.

In Puerto Rico, La Concha Resort is developing LUXE Azul Beach Club, which is expected to open by the end of 2026. The resort is also featuring Art in Residence suites showcasing contemporary Puerto Rican artists and culture.

The Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort has completed a full transformation covering its accommodation, public spaces, dining venues and amenities.

Meanwhile, the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is restoring and refreshing its beachfront along Seven Mile Beach. The project is intended to improve shoreline access and environmental resilience, alongside curated oceanfront dining, a Chef’s Table, mixology experiences and private beach gatherings and events.

Beyond the Caribbean, Marriott is continuing a phased transformation of Marriott Puerto Vallarta, including redesigned rooms and suites, swim-up rooms, an adults-only pool and expanded dining. Courtyard Mexico City Airport has completed upgrades, while Le Méridien Mexico City has refreshed its all-suite accommodation.
