Anguilla recorded its strongest first quarter for visitor arrivals in more than three decades, welcoming 90,017 visitors during the first three months of 2026.

Tourism officials said the figure represents a 30 per cent increase compared to the same period in 2025 and marks the island’s best first-quarter performance in 34 years.

According to tourism authorities, January, February and March each recorded the highest visitor arrival totals ever registered for those respective months.

Tourism Minister Cardigan Connor said the results highlight the continued appeal of the destination.

“Anguilla’s record-breaking first quarter performance reflects the strength of our tourism product and reaffirms Anguilla’s position as a leading premier destination,” Connor stated.

Director of Tourism Jameel Rochester attributed the growth to a combination of destination marketing, improved connectivity and visitor experience.

“Anguilla’s outstanding first quarter performance is a direct result of collaborative destination marketing, enhanced connectivity, and the strength of our visitor experience,” Rochester said.

Tourism officials said the latest figures reflect continued momentum for the island’s tourism sector, supported by partnerships across the industry and sustained demand for the destination.

Anguilla has increasingly positioned itself as a high-end Caribbean tourism destination, attracting visitors from major international markets.
