Search efforts are continuing in Saint Kitts and Nevis for missing visitor Wang Zyuan, who was last seen on the Mount Liamuiga trail on Wednesday, May 27.
The operation has now entered its fifth day, with multiple agencies taking part in extensive searches across the mountain.
Joint search teams include officers from the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, the St Kitts-Nevis Fire and Rescue Department, the Police Training School, the Forest Unit, the Red Cross and the Ross University K9 Unit.
According to the police, wide-area search operations were carried out throughout Thursday, May 29 and Friday, May 30, but Wang has not yet been located.
The police force said all partnering agencies remain committed to finding Wang and will continue search operations as efforts intensify.
Authorities also thanked volunteers, agencies and members of the public who have assisted with the ongoing operation.
